We are located about 4 kilometers from the center of Rovaniemi, and you can reach us on foot, by bike, by bus, by taxi, or by your own car. You can check public transportation connections here. Our address is Taunontie 14, 96600 Rovaniemi. We don’t provide transfer services to the ski resort.

There is a large parking area right next to the ski resort, close to the rental shop and the slopes. Parking is free during your visit.

Unfortunately, we do not rent ski goggles or ski clothing. You will need to have weather-appropriate clothing with you when you arrive. We do have a limited selection of ski goggles for sale in our Ski Shop on site.

Appropriate clothing depends greatly on the season, but it’s best to dress in layers, prefer merino wool, and avoid cotton. Especially during the coldest months—January and February—it is very important to dress warmly, and your clothing should also allow you to move comfortably. Ski goggles are not always necessary, but if it’s very windy, cold, snowing, or visibility is otherwise poor, they make skiing more comfortable and can also improve safety.

We recommend our ski school lessons for beginners. They provide a safe and supportive way to learn the basics under the guidance of a professional instructor. You can find the ski school services and package offers here.

Children who are at least 2 years old can participate in ski school, and there is no specific upper age limit. For children under 4 years old, we offer a 40-minute lesson as part of the Mini Start package.

Ski school lessons begin in front of the rental shop, where you will meet your instructor. At the meeting point, there is a ski school flag and a sign that says “Meeting Point.”

The content of ski school lessons is always tailored to the customer’s needs. Beginner lessons start in Rendi Park, where you will practice controlling your speed, turning, and stopping. Depending on the lesson and skill level, you may also progress to larger and more challenging slopes. The instructor will guide the lesson according to the participants’ skill level and also give advice on how to continue after the lesson.

Cross-country skiing happens on flat terrain on specific skiing tracks. Alpine skiing means downhill skiing. They have different equipment and are very different sports.

Unfortunately, there is no sledding hill in the ski resort area, and sledding is not allowed. We also do not rent sleds. However, there is a small tubing hill in Rendi Park.

The small approximately 20-meter-long tube slide in Rendi Park usually opens in late December and remains open as long as there is enough snow for safe tubing, usually until the beginning of April. The tube slide is available during the ski resort’s opening hours, and you need either a Rendi Park ticket or a full ski resort lift pass to use it.

We offer lift tickets and rental equipment for students at children’s prices. The student discount is only available when purchasing on site, and a valid student card must be shown. The student card must clearly show its validity dates and include a clear photo.

We offer a free lift ticket for assistants when they are skiing with the person they are assisting. The ticket can be obtained on site by showing a disability card.

Our ski resort has a restaurant called Alpenjäger. It is open daily during the ski resort’s opening hours.

Unused lift tickets can only be refunded in the case of illness or accident. In such cases, we require a medical certificate.
A reserved equipment rental can be cancelled no later than 24 hours before the start of the reservation, with a 50% refund.

Ski school bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 14 days before the start of the lesson, with a full refund. For cancellations made less than 14 days but more than 48 hours before the lesson, a €25 cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the lesson are not eligible for a refund, except in cases of illness or accident, in which case a medical certificate is required.

We generally hold ski school lessons in all weather conditions, as long as it is safe for both customers and instructors. Therefore, appropriate clothing is very important. However, if temperatures are extremely cold or conditions are otherwise too challenging, we may cancel the lesson or agree on an alternative arrangement with the customer, in which case the booking may be partially or fully refunded. We will always contact you if any changes occur.

We usually open the ski resort for the winter season around 11 November, and the season lasts until mid-April. At the beginning of the season, we typically open 1–2 slopes as well as the Rendi Park practice area using stored snow. After that, we aim to open more slopes as soon as snow conditions allow.
